Here D denotes for Division and Number donates division of Bhav.

Chamar amsa – When any planet is placed in 4 divisional chart in own sign or excellent or Mooltrikona sign then that planet is called in chamar amsa.
Chatra amsa – When any planet is placed in 5 divisional chart in own sign or excellent or Mooltrikona sign then that planet is called in Chatra amsa.
Kundal amsa – When any planet is placed in 6 divisional chart in own sign or excellent or Mooltrikona sign then planet is belong to Kundal amsa.
Saptavarga
This is constitutes with 7 divisional chart. Means D7 and Shadvarga.
